The College of Engineering🔗 is dedicated to cultivating high-tech talents in areas such as smart manufacturing and precision mechanical engineering, mechatronic systems and integration engineering, materials and green energy engineering, semiconductor processing, as well as aircraft engineering and maintenance, avionics, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology, and advanced vehicle technology. In alignment with NFU’s educational objectives, which is gradually evolving into an industry-oriented research university. By leveraging the outstanding teaching and research achievements of its faculty and integrating the technological advancements of various domestic industries, the college actively promotes industry-academia collaboration and facilitates industrial upgrades as its long-term development focus.
Our department is dedicated to cultivating professionals in the field of industrial technology by integrating theory and practice. In addition to strengthening fundamental knowledge, we place great emphasis on fostering students’ self-learning abilities, developing their capacity for integration and innovation, and enhancing their hands-on skills and research capabilities. Aligning with both international and domestic technological advancements, we aim to nurture creative and precise technology professionals while also improving their foreign language proficiency and general humanities education, ensuring they stay in sync with global trends.
The department specializes in mechatronic and optoelectronic integrated systems, with a focus on system integration, automatic control, and manufacturing management as its core development areas. It is divided into three groups: Mechanical/Manufacturing Management, Automatic Control Systems, and Measurement/System Integration.
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is committed to equipping students with professional knowledge and practical skills in materials science, engineering, and green energy. Our educational objectives include imparting fundamental and specialized knowledge, enhancing students’ ability to integrate theory with application, and developing their expertise in experimental planning and execution.
The department is committed to cultivating talents with expertise in materials research, materials analysis, materials processing, and materials treatment. Its primary educational goal is to nurture professionals for the advanced materials industry and the optoelectronic semiconductor industry.
The 21st century is the era of the knowledge economy, where the integration of “innovation” and “technological knowledge” is essential for business profitability and national economic development. To meet the demand for such talent, our department focuses on four key areas of professional expertise: Transmission System Design and Manufacturing, Microsystems and Biomedical Engineering, Thermal Fluid Machinery and Energy Technology, Mechatronic Engineering and Innovative Design.
The Department of Vehicle Engineering aims to cultivate high-level professionals in vehicle engineering, specializing in research and development, design, manufacturing, maintenance, and professional management.
The educational objectives of this department are established based on the actual needs of the domestic aviation industry. The primary goal is to equip students with the practical skills and knowledge required for aircraft maintenance, ensuring a seamless transition into the aviation workforce. Additionally, the curriculum provides a strong foundation in both theory and technical expertise, fostering students’ potential for further development. With accumulated work experience, graduates will be capable of analyzing, researching, and advancing aircraft systems with specialized technical expertise.

Our mission is to cultivate high-level professionals in aviation, satellite systems, electronic and information technology, and UAV technology, enhancing the integration capabilities and research strength of aerospace engineering and intelligent systems technology in the country.
