The New York Times Academic Edition is a newly introduced national academic database for 2025 by the Information and Library Center. Faculty and students of NFU can register for a free personal account using their school email address to access up-to-date news, expert commentary, arts, lifestyle, and more—anytime, anywhere.
Application Information
- App Options: Applicants may choose only one from the Cooking or Game app.
- University Quota: 170 accounts are available. If the number of applicants exceeds the quota, priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications using non-university email addresses will not be considered.
- Activation: After receiving the approval notification, applicants must activate their account via the designated URL. (Please refer to the App Activation Guide.)
- Application Deadline: May 16, 2025 (Friday)
- Subscription Period: Valid for one year from the date of activation.
- Expected Approval Notification: Early July
